I grew up playing bass and singing in local bands from Durham and Hillsborough before having the opportunity to record with Classic Case — a rock outfit featuring members of Blankface and Glassjaw. From there, I joined the metal band Idea of Beauty as bassist and melodic vocalist and toured the US playing with some of the biggest heavy bands in the industry. After that, a move to Houston put me in a completely different musical world, where I produced the track for FDA Music’s single “Home Town.” That combination of backgrounds — rock, metal, rap and hip-hop is where my ear comes from.

I started BLACKLODGE NC to be the kind of studio I always wanted access to: serious gear, no attitude, and a space that just feels comfortable. I want to work with all kinds of artists on all kinds of audio-visual projects. I’m dedicated to helping musicians find their voice and realize their audio dreams. Whether it’s carving out the perfect vocal chain for a rapper or architecting a wall of sound for a metal project, my goal is to provide the roadmap and the tech-forward ecosystem that turns your creative vision into a professional reality.
